New Additions To Sugar Pink Boutique

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a while I haven't been inspired to write lately. I'm keeping busy with the business, gardening, cooking and lots of spring cleaning. I am already getting fall fever, as some of you know I LOVE fall it's my favorite time of year. I have been making some autumn recipes and lighting my autumn candles and making plans for some new fall items for my shop. It lifts my spirits and takes me back to the mountains that we visit every October. It's so hot here during the summer that I assume just skip it lol!

I want to mention some new additions to my shop! I added a "Sugar Pink Gift Shop" section when I opened with all the intentions of adding some handmade items. Well over a year later I finally did, starting with Lilly Pulitzer Handmade Bangle Bracelets. I love these they are so beautiful I ordered several for myself and my sister. Then I thought hey, these would be great to sell in my shop!

I have more patterns being custom made for my shop and they will be in stock within the next couple of weeks. Keep an eye out because more Lilly accessories are coming to Sugar Pink Boutique!

I have also been adding some new trims! These beautiful french style ribbons remind me of the handmade ones you find around the internet. They are a huge hit, aren't the crowns pretty? There are also music notes, bees, skeleton keys and Fleur De Lis.

I have added a new theme of Candylights to my shop as well called Surf 'n Sand! They are perfect for summer and the beachy theme.

I love this Petal Pink Box Pleated Satin Ribbon I found and I will be ordering more colors next time.

I added a new color of the popular satin cabbage roses called Nectar. Aren't these so sweet?

Also a new color edition of the chevron ribbon Aqua and White Chevron Striped Twill Ribbon.

Love this romantic style Pale Pink Sheer Wired Butterfly Ribbon it's very unique!

I hope you all have a safe and Happy Memorial Day Weekend! Tropical storm Beryl is heading our way so we are all staying indoors and praying God's protection over everyone. God bless you and yours ♥

Welcome Spring!

It's good to be back blogging again. I'm sorry I have been away for a while but I needed to take some time off. I have been very busy with the baking business, getting my vegetable garden going and the Sugar Pink Boutique business.

Spring is a busy time for me because I love gardening so I spend a lot of time outside. Every year we plant trees, bushes, flowers, vegetables and fruits. We plant just a little each year because it's a lot of work and money but someday we will have our dream yard. We have been working on it since we built our house in 2005.

I have been getting out a bit more too I usually am a homebody and so is my husband. We love quiet days and evenings at home together there is so much to do here so why leave. However we are realizing we need to spend more time with family and friends and enjoy life outside of our own little haven we created.

Since I have been getting out more I did a little Easter shopping. I'm not a huge shopper like I was in my younger days in fact I hardly ever go to the stores. However I LOVE to shop at Easter time because that is when I find my pastel colors everywhere!

I found a beautiful frou frou wreath with pink feathers and pastel eggs at Michaels. I hung this beauty up in my studio.

I also found this adorable bunny, berry wreath and pale blue ceramic plate at Kirklands so I put them all together and made a cute decoration for my studio.

A dear friend of mine Julie from Pieceful Bits made this adorable bunny glitter cottage for her shop. Of course I had to purchase it for my glitter cottage village.

I have been looking everywhere for a spring wreath for our front door. It's so hard to find a nice one nowadays they are either too small or have gaudy flowers on them. They use to be so easy to find back in the day anyway I ended up making my own and it was less expensive too. Now our entrance is ready for spring!

Okay I think I talked your ear off I hope you all have a wonderful day in Jesus and if I don't blog before Easter have a Happy Easter!! Hugs, Jennifer

Corners of My Studio With Birds and Blossoms Boutique and Design

I haven't written a post on my studio in a long time and I wanted to show you a few items I inquired from one of my favorite shops on Etsy Birds and Blossoms Boutique and Design. My dear friend Mandi is the proprietor of this gorgeous shop and she is such a wonderful lady! She makes blocks, frames, bunting banners, gift tags and more!

I ordered these blocks from her last year and I just love them. She uses the most beautiful paper I have ever seen to decoupage her blocks and they sell like hot cakes!

This adorable vintage garden shabby trinket box was mine the first time I laid eyes on it. She used the Cath Kidston paper she bought from my shop to make this gorgeous box. Her work is perfection you can see no flaws she is a perfectionist and it shows.

She added paper to all sides of this lovely trinket box as you can see. I love the combination of all of the beautiful papers it reminds me of a patchwork quilt.

When you have a chance and are in the mood to look at beautiful items please stop by and visit her lovely shop Birds and Blossoms Boutique and Design on Etsy. She has wonderful items for Valentine's Day and Easter too!

I hope you all have a blessed day. As my precious Grandma Monica May always use to say "This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24

I love you Grandma and will see you soon! ♥
